The UEFA Football Law Program was once again held at the prestigious and historical Ca’ Foscari University of Venice between 8 and 12 of April 2024.
The program which gradually takes place over 4 weeks is now in its fifth edition. The sessions in Venice largely dealt with the regulatory and disciplinary rules in Football. Numerous sessions were delivered by exceptional speakers including Roberto Rosetti who shared his valuable insights on the topic of referees and VAR in football.
Jacopo Tognon, the Sessions Director of the Program moderated an interesting round table on Match fixing – a significant threat to modern football. The fifth edition will finally come to an end in Nyon at the UEFA headquarters. It is all set to take place in September 2024 with a graduation ceremony for the class of the fourth edition. More updates from Nyon coming soon.
