Insurance Law
Insurance law is analysed and studied both from the side of the injured party (road traffic liability and work accidents) and from the side of the insurance companies, as JT LEX is also a fiduciary firm for companies.
The practice is taken care of from the outset by means of out-of-court activities aimed at settling disputes amicably and by means of legal protection, in accordance with the specific rules governing the discipline.
Great importance, therefore, was given to in-depth doctrinal and jurisprudential analysis of the issues concerning biological and existential damage, under the multiple components that characterise it.
It also deals with non-life insurance, life insurance, accident policies and liability for various risks (fire, theft, ‘kasko’, professional liability).
Banking Law
Banking law has always been close to the heart of the firm’s professionals in all aspects relating to the Consolidating Act 385 of 1993 as amended.
The firm currently defends companies and individuals in litigation involving sureties, mortgages and current account relationships.
JT LEX assists clients in the best solution of problems related to the restructuring of debt and non-performing loans also through negotiations with debt collection companies.

Labour law is a particular focus of the firm’s work. The protection of workers and companies is ensured through a systematic study of individual cases in both the pre-litigation and judicial phases.

Real estate and tenancy law
Real estate law is an evolving subject and is one of the specialisations covered by JT LEX.
In particular, the activities of the professionals are concentrated in the following areas:

It also advises on and drafts lease agreements (residential and commercial use) with related judicial protection (eviction proceedings for arrears and licence for finite tenancy).
The firm has always been involved in extrajudicial assistance in real estate sales transactions, both in the preparation of preliminary contracts and notarial deeds.
International and Community Law
The discipline, which, due to the importance of foreign trade, has taken on a significant dimension in the last period, is treated and edited with in-depth analysis and operational methodology.
The drafting of an appropriate contract to protect the interests of the represented party is the indispensable tool for guaranteeing traders with regard to the law applicable to the international contract and issues concerning jurisdiction, also with regard to the possible inclusion of arbitration clauses.
The subject of study is also international sales, with particular reference to the 1980 Vienna Convention. Particular attention is then devoted to EU law and its concrete applications within the national legal system, in particular with reference to the so-called Rome Regulation II on the 2007 bonds.
Criminal law
The legislative evolution of the criminal justice system, both from a substantive and procedural point of view, requires specific preparation and expertise to deal with the subject matter in a professional manner.
To this end, the firm guarantees for culpable offences and insurance-related offences (personal injury, culpable homicide, criminal law on accidents at work) serious and specific preparation in dealing with individual issues.
In all cases, collaboration and joint defence with experienced professionals is guaranteed in order to prepare the best possible defence in the concrete case under examination.
