Sport law explained by those who live it every day: Jacopo Tognon celebrates his twentieth year of collaboration with the prestigious SBS Master – Strategies for the Business of Sport, one of the most authoritative training programs in the Italian sports management education landscape. During a series of three lectures held at the “La Ghirada” sports center in Treviso, Avv. Tognon guided the students through an in-depth exploration of major topics in international sport law:
“Organization of International Sports Bodies: Role and Functions of the IOC, National Olympic Committees, and International Federations” (October 10) with the speech of Mr. Maurizio Gherardini,; president of Lega Basket serie A;
“The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne within the International Sports Justice System” (October 17) with the speech of Evelina Christillin, former President of TOROC 2006;
“The Experience of the Ad hoc Division for the Olympic Games and Mega Sport Events (Football World Cups and 2024/2026 Olympic Games)” (October 20).
Utilizing a practical approach enriched with examples drawn from his direct experience at the CAS in Lausanne, Mr. Tognon shared a global vision of the sports system, its institutions, and the ethical and legal challenges characterizing major international events.
Twenty years of teaching testify not only to the continuity of his academic and formative commitment but also to the dedication to transmitting the values of integrity, transparency, and competence – hallmarks of the JT Lex Studio – to the future generation of sports managers.
