On 26 January, the conference “Sports justice and transparency – How to protect rights and overcome critical issues” took place at the Auditorium I.I.S. The event, promoted by the Puglia Regional Committee of CONI together with the Bari Bar Association, the Order of Journalists of Puglia and AIGA, addressed key issues concerning the protection of athletes and sports organizations: the relationship between state jurisdiction and sports justice, professional ethics in sports proceedings, the governance of sports associations and clubs, the role of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office and the protection of minors in sport.

Among the speakers was lawyer Jacopo Tognon, who analyzed the recent Opinions of the Advocate General in cases C-424/24 and C-425/24 and their possible impact on the domestic sports justice system.

The program also included contributions from Dr. Autiero, Dr. Ancona, Pennisi and Tartaro, Attorneys at law,  and Prof. Costantino, offering a plurality of legal, ethical and media perspectives.

The initiative confirms the importance of ongoing dialogue between sports law, institutional transparency and the effective protection of rights, within a regulatory framework that is constantly evolving.
