On the occasion of the first edition of the Fight The Fix educational program (UEFA FTF) a mock trial was held in Rome on 20 April 2023. Trainees represented the defence in a match-fixing case within the framework of a sports arbitration proceeding before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).<\/p>\n\n

The event was organized in partnership with the FIGC. Mr Jacopo Tognon – Session Director of UEFA FLP for Ca\u2019 Foscari University of Venice – participated in the role of referee at the Moot Court Competition.<\/p>\n\n

This project not only has training purposes but it is also aimed at promoting respect for and safeguarding of the rules of sporting integrity. Mr Jacopo Tognon, in collaboration with some of the junior attorneys of the firm, recently published a book entitled: “The threats to modern sport”.<\/p>\n\n
