• Jacopo Tognon, Solicitor

    Cassazionista, solicitor, has been practising for 26 years with particular reference to civil and labour law, as well as sports law, the developments of which he has been following for many years as a scholar and enthusiast of the subject.
    A lecturer at the University of Padua since 2004, he is currently in charge of the teaching of European Sport Policies and Integrity (Degree Course in Sport Sciences, funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus + Jean Monnet programme), and of Law and Management of Sport Activities (Degree Course in tertiary sector law at the School of Law).

  • Sara Compagnin, Solicitor

    After graduating from high school and participating in the Erasmus programme at the University of Strasbourg, she graduated in 2020 from the School of Law of the University of Padua with a thesis on the relationship between sports justice and administrative justice.
    She practised law, initially focusing on civil law and banking law, before concluding her training with a focus on civil law and sports law. Today she is part of the JT LEX contributor team.
    A member of the editorial staff of the magazine ‘GiustiziaSportiva.it’, he collaborated on ‘The Threats of Modern Sport’.
    She passed the qualification examination for FIGC sports agent.

  • Filippo Apolloni, Solicitor

    After graduating from high school, he graduated with honours in 2021 from the Law School of the University of Padua. He has been practising law at the Tognon Law Firm since 2021, focusing on civil law and sports law.
    Today he is part of the JT LEX contributor team. A member of the ‘GiustiziaSportiva.it’ magazine’s editorial staff, he collaborated on ‘The Threats of Modern Sport’. He is the author of several publications on the subject.

  • Veena-Swarna-Ravoori

    Veena Swarna Ravoori, Solicitor

    She completed her under-graduation in law and business administration in India. She has years of experience in civil law, contract law and arbitration. After which, she pursued her Masters in International Sports Law in ISDE, Spain.

    Since 2024, she has been a registered advocate at the Indian Bar Association. She speaks five languages and is passionate about sports law and human rights.

    She is now an International Sports Lawyer and works of counsel with JT Lex – Tognon Law Firm. Her main area of focus revolves around sports law, matters in the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and other international activities of the firm.

    She graduated in Padua in 1988 with a thesis on family law and has been registered as a solicitor since July 1991. In the course of more than 30 years of practice, she has dealt with a large number of cases and events in the field of mainly civil law, with a focus on insurance law, family law and property rights. She is an expert in procedural matters and civil litigation, advocating before ordinary courts. He has attended refresher courses under the auspices of the Bar Council on bankruptcy and family law, as well as on medical liability and civil liability in its many facets.

    She graduated from the University of Padua in 2007 with a dissertation on criminal law, obtained her professional qualification in 2010 and has been a member of the Padua Bar Association since January 2011.
    She practised law and then worked as a solicitor mainly in the civil law field, collaborating with law firms and specialising in contract law, labour law and civil liability.
    Since 2014, she has worked with the Tognon Law Firm, where she consolidated and further expanded her expertise.
    Her work focuses on civil law, both in and out of court, with a particular emphasis on insurance law, contract law, family law, real rights, executions, civil and medical liability.
